I have photographed and documented each and every flower in my garden for the past 7 years and this has helped me learn about the many different beautiful flowers that grow so well in Texas.  I  started this website to share the knowledge I have learned, and to continue to learn about the beauty and joy of Texas flower gardening!

I moved to Texas in 2003 to study Architecture at the University of Texas.  I began my flower garden in 2006 when my husband and I bought our first home in central Texas.  What began as a few starter plants in my front yard and a flower diary (my plant files), has grown to over 500 plants in my yard and 3 large binders of flower data I have collected over the years!
